All Free - Hyperdocs and what not
This year I was gifted (ha) a 4/5 combo online all year at a new school with no support because no one knows me and often forgets I exist because I am "the remote teacher," and oh did I mention I went on maternity leave in September?
Pictured above- me trying to wrap my head around teaching two grade levels at once online with no supports, no paras... no pull outs... just me and 33 kids rockin the 4/5 combo.
Luckily the network of amazing rocking teachers in they hyperdoc community had my back so I was able to prep basically the entire year to ensure my 4th and 5th graders were well taken care of with high quality materials even when I was away for three months. (Shout out to my AMAZING sub who did all the things on his own and crushed this crazy assignment.)
First, anything I post here is for free use only. Do not go and make a copy and adjust slightly only to turn around and sell on TPT. Literally my survival this year is credited to teachers helping teachers so in that spirit- enjoy but keep it free and give credit where it is due.
Anything that you don't find useful here, you might find on this page. https://hyperdocs.co/ Highly recommend. Two thumbs up.
Nadine Gilkison is the queen of hyperdocs and basically everything she does is gold. Here is her site of gold resources.

These are FREE and here because I survived 2020 because of Teachers helping Teachers- for free. Enjoy!
The links will all force a copy in google drive. Template for these hyperdocs given to Nadine Gilkison. Content is created by me or the source is cited in the document

Social Emotional Learning
Social Studies
Civics Hyperdocs (4th/5th Grade but appropriate for middle school)
This unit is meant to be done after lessons on state or federal government. In my 4/5 combo I did both all at once (lol) and these last two weeks were a hit with my class. The focus is how we as individuals can interact with our government to advocate for change. It is a cross-curricular design incorporating persuasive writing, art, government and civics.
Driving Question: How do people use art to advocate for change in their communities?
Language Arts
Narrative Writing Hyperdocs- these are not pretty- I made them post baby lol

If you like my resources, I was going to add a buy me a coffee link but instead, buy one of your teacher friends who needs some extra love some coffee. This year is HARD. Teachers need each other to get through 😭❤️❤️❤️🥰
For in person resources, more of my resources are on Teachers Pay Teachers for cheap, if not free. When I started my career, everything in my classroom was purchased by 23 year old me out of pocket. I strive to price my materials fairly keeping that in mind and post things for free whenever I can!
